Saves Title Customers Time with Release of SkyFarm™, an Innovative

Diego, CA – January 13, 2004 – DataQuick®, a subsidiary
of MacDonald Dettwiler and a premier provider of real estate information
solutions, announced the release of SkyFarm, an aerial complement to their
popular PropertyPro® CD product.
DataQuick has partnered with Digital Map Products, Inc. (DMP) to offer
a visual mapping tool that generates aerial images overlaid with interactive
parcel map boundaries. Currently available as a feature within DataQuick
PropertyPro CD, SkyFarm enables Title companies to save hours of valuable
time processing requests from their Realtor customers who want real estate
data for marketing (“farming”) or research purposes.
By integrating aerial images and spatial functionality, users can instantly
identify parcels in six Southern California counties using an address,
owner name, parcel number, or street intersection. After locating the
subject property, users can quickly designate or “draw” an
area on the map containing up to 500 parcels, increasing operational efficiency
and improving speed of delivery. “The ability to accurately extract
property records by interacting with an aerial image, complete with parcel
map overlays, is a dream come true for our PropertyPro CD users,”
said Tiffany Gamache, Director of DataQuick’s Title Services Division.
Aerial mapping tools are expected to become an industry standard within
the Real estate community in the near future. By using SkyFarm, current
DataQuick Title customers will gain a leading edge over their competitors.
